My New Way of Life

Hi! As we entered a New Year I was thinking like a lot of us I would like to make a few changes. I want to   be more fit and have more energy. I was also thinking of my husband and children, particularly my children in that I did not want to call it a diet. I feel as a family that we eat fairly healthy foods, but there is always room for improvement! I feel myself in particular could learn some portion control. It is amazing what we really should be having. I elicited the help of a nutritionist and I am following what I would like to call a Lifestyle Change. I just completed my first full week today! I feel amazing! I have to say it has also had a profound positive effect on my family. I could not ask for more! As I am preparing the meals either one or both of my children are asking I would like to try that fish, I would like some oatmeal ! I say WOW!
I explain to them the fish does not have any spices or sauces it may not taste like what they are used to. They want to try any way! I am delighted to say I received positive feedback, that's good Mom! I know for myself it is particularly hard to make changes even little ones! I am here to report that even after just one week I am feeling very thankful that I made these changes and am looking forward to more positive results!  Sara
